Phone is possessed... strange dialog box

Gang -

On another thread outlining the occasional left side touch not working, well... just now saw this VERY strange dialog box asking me to input a task. It did not look like the evi/vlingo/google box.

And it had 'porn' in the search box.

Now I do NOT look for nor have anything to do with apps or websites that do.

So, tried to grab a screen shot and it issued a FC.

Finally did get it to capture and all I got was a blank screen.

Now beginning to think the touch screen issue just *might* be software or the OS.

BAMF 1.11 3++ .9 radios.

That's a little freaky.

If it were me, I'd probably bite the bullet and do a factory reset, and start from scratch. Do you have a nandroid from not too long ago (but before the problems started) that you could revert back to?

Actually, I do. It seemed to happen 10 days or so ago. Right now running G3D 1.2 and all seems well.

But get this, did a complete wipe and installed 1.11 from scratch which included a seperate Kernel and the left side was still acting up. And Avast was clean both internal and ext.

screen problem may be separate, but I'd definitely be suspicious if I got a pop-up like that.

G3D was also acting up as well.

Ok, got the nused one and did a revolutionary. Then restored my nandroid. All seems well.

Quite painless, actually.
