Not sure why, but i'm having a horrible experience with mine. I'm coming from HTC one that blazed. I'm a power user, and constantly use multi-apps, switching back and forth. I can't take the lag. Anyone else having this issue? I usually go back and forth between email and notes/browser. This thing is just lagging. Not sure if it's because I have everything enabled but it's no different then my HTC one.

Any advice? I disabled Lookout! - what a drain! Anything else?

Just got it yesterday, if I can't figure this out I may have to return it but need to give it a chance.

I would do a factory reset......No one has said "this phone is slow" not one person lol (except you) maybe you can post a video showing us what you are talking about?

I'm noticing that the response time is slow, too. I am going to play with the touch sensitivity settings tonight to see if things will improve.

I am noticing:
*When I tap the back button, there is a delay in response to the point where I've hit the back button more than once then the phone takes me too far back for what I wanted.
*I may tap the screen to remove a notification, then I tap it again because I thought it didn't register, and I end up selecting whatever was behind the notification.
*This may be a compatibility issue with the S Pen with Eraser, so I'm not harping on this one, but the eraser takes a long time to actually erase the writing. I picked up my Note II to see if it was just me, but the erasure time was what I normally experienced on the Note II.

I was trying to give myself time to adjust to the Note 3, as I thought that because the dimensions are similar to the Note II that maybe I was hitting the back button a little too high since the Note 3's bezel is smaller. I am hoping that the update to fix the handwriting bug contains other optimizations that will aid in the slow response that I am seeing so far.

I'm seeing the same issues. Just did a reset. Will try it out too without enabling all the features. I'm just a bit bummed. Was following this phone for months. Invested my life into this thing (as far as research and drool-lol) I may just return it if this can't be resolved and go for HTC max.

Now I'm kinda feeling lucky that Verizon hasn't released theirs yet. I'm able to see a lot of different real world commits on how this phone really operates. I love the screen size even tho I'm one handed my eyes are getting worse. The pen sounds interesting but I also had a bad experience with Samsung Gnex it had poor radios, battery and had a lot of lag. I went from the Gnex to a Razor Maxx but its slowing down and after 2 years the battery is slowing down and charging port is loose and its just a little boring now. Oh and the camera sucks.
