Phone is very lagging

I have only had my S9 for a week, and one thing which is driving me nuts is the incredible lag when either selecting a contact in my phone book or even when i dial directly. It can take over 30 seconds before it starts dialling, which is absolutely crazy.

Anybody had a similar experience with the S9, and any solutions to get rid of this lag?

That is not 'normal'. Start the phone in safe mode and if the lag is gone, it's an app that you added.

Why bother to fix it .. since you got it just a week and under warranty.
I would not mess with it ,
bring it back immediately to get another one ..
