phone keeps going into silent mode! HELP!

Just recently I have noticed that the speaker icon with the slash through it is appearing on my status bar. After I make or receive a call, it goes into silent mode as well. Anyone have any suggestions?? I am not hearing any of my calls or text messages.

I figured it out...had a third party ring app interfering. Thanks though

it keeps happening to me too.... how did you resolve it?

If you have a 3rd party Do not disturb app, uninstall it.. the issue will be resolved
