Phone keeps hanging up when using a wired headset

Comido wired headset

This is driving me crazy. My phone will randomly unmute itself or hangup during calls - only when I am using the wired headset. I am not pressing any buttons on the phone or any on the headset. My phone is literally sitting on the desk untouched.

There must be some sort of software setting that is picking up voice commands or something. What setting could this be?

Welcome to Android Central! It might be that the headset's plug configuration is not entirely compatible with the phone. Have you tried other headsets? Does this Comido headset work normally on other phones?
