Phone lag, battery; return it? Help!

It's true, just make sure its a good store. I found one that I really like right now. I even talked the manager into taking care of my device for me because it again came with preinstalled dust under the screen. They are just waiting on a new shipment. The last store I caught the sales rep spinning my pre on the counter like top. I didn't saying anything because it was getting replaced.

you're kidding me. so this will be your 7th EVO?
 
I don't know I lost count. I did have really nice one that HTC sent me but the OTA bricked it. It was a fresh device out of the box no apps installed nothing, but yet the the Sprint tech still tried to blame me. How exactly can you press yes to install update wrong?

I might not replace this one I think they are going to try to fix it first. They just want one on hand first before they try.

Other than the dust there's nothing wrong with this one. It doesn't even have any light bleed.

well by my count you have at least EVO #6 in your hands and you are working your way to #7.
 
Sounds about right, I do feel bad. But the only reason the manager is working with me is because none of the problems have been caused by "user error".
 
do you know what the odds are of one guy getting 6 sequentially bad EVOs in less than a month?
 
Guys, thanks for the help.

I am now noticing light under the screen, near where the molding is on the bottom. Light is bleeding onto the screen a bit, and the glass is raised at the bottom, prompting light to 'stick out' there. I guess I have to return it now.
