I've got a Samsung S5 Android version 6.0.1. (recently updated software) and my phone lock screen was a pattern. All of a sudden last night it stopped working and I used my backup pin to reset. All good and it happened again today, so I changed the pattern and it wouldn't let me unlock with the pattern again. Turned off any security and left it as the pin. Tried to go back in after a while to set up a phone lock again and it's saying I have the incorrect pin now and as I don't have any security set up I'm fine to get into my phone but can't change any security settings! So frustrating. I've been using SwiftKey so turned they keyboard off and tried that, no luck. Tried clearing the cache and using the android device manager, again nothing.
Can't find anything to help and I really don't want to reset the factory settings. Any advice??
