My phone keeps coming up with a message that the android process has quit unexpectedly. I have rebooted phone and only way to get rid of message is to pull battery.

Not normal behavior. Do factory reset. If that doesn't work take it back.

This typically means an app has an issue and usually a reboot fixes it. And sometimes, as stated a factory reset is needed. But I haven't seen an instance where it needs to be taken back because usually the corrupted file can be fixed per the first 2 solutions.
