Hi all, hope your having a better day then i am :(

Bought my phone from Vodaphone in Dec 2015 unlocked it and as a whole been very happy with it, however plugged in a simple little fan (eBay UK item number 112244885955) phone flashed on and off once or twice and fan kept going but phone shut down i just presumed fan needed tons of power and shut the phone down, anyway 2 mins later 2 the fan out and turned the phone on and everything works perfect (Wi-Fi,BT, games etc) except i noticed no cell signal, so i presumed maybe my local cell was down so swapped to 2 other networks and all the time no cell coverage, even when i dial my mobile from landline no ringing on the mobile. So done some more digging and found out my IMEI number is 0 and IMEI SV is 81, no idea what the last one should be but i know the IMEI should not be 0.

I have the IMEI number from the sticker so i know what it should be but at at a loss on how to go about editing my current 0 IMEI number to what it should be, anyone help me out?

That's quite concerning.:-\ It makes me wonder if the fan somehow delivered some malware via the USB connection. I'm not quite sure how to proceed from here, though. Services that claim to reset or change your IMEI are shady as well, since they could be helping people change the IMEI of a stolen phone.

This is a perfect example of the law being an *** in the UK, I will see what others say but there must be a way to fix this issue

There are ways to change the IMEI. They usually require root access. However, discussion of such changes are prohibited on the forums.
