Android Central Question
Hi,
I have a Galaxy S5 mini which will only charge from a USB connection or using an older Samsung 0.7A charger, even then it will only charge when it is off or if the phone is restarted with the USB cable in during the restart. It will not charge from the Samsung 2A charger. It is running Android 6. I have tried with different USB cables with the same result each time, and the chargers/USB cables all work on an older Android 4 phone. If the USB cable is just connected without a restart it does not recognise a USB connection.
The fact it will charge sometimes and not at other times suggests it might be software related rather than a broken port, but was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or fixes?
Many thanks
