Phone possibly compromised?

So, I'm not entirely sure what is going on with my phone, currently. Sometimes in the middle of use it will start moving to other screens, or opening random apps, usually always going to the right, or apps at the top of the screen. I took a shower today and came back to it being off vibrate and several apps running. Turning off and on seems to fix it for a while. Additionally I've run antivirus apps and a root checker, both of which turn up nothing. But they are free, so I don't have any reason to believe that they are 100% effective. Anyways does this soundpossibly hacked or rooted or comprised in some way? Or like my phone is just on the Fritz?

additionally the knock on feature does not seem to work anymore.

Good place to start your troubleshooting is by clearing the cache

Well I downloaded a cache cleaner, and ran it on all phone apps

Hmm, kind of sounds like what others here described as the "screen going crazy". What carrier are you on? Do you have all ota updates installed?
