This started happening today but has happened 4 times.

I go to unlock the device after having it locked for about 30 minutes and it reboots the whole device.

Anyone seen anything like this?

The first thing they'll tell you to try is a factory reset. It's also my recommendation. If that stops it, wait a few days. If it doesn't happen again, you're good. If it does happen again, get the phone exchanged if you're within your return period.

Still doing it after a factory reset. Going to have to contact them and see what can be done.

Mine rebooted a couple times yesterday. Something unlock phone but it seemed like a quick reboot.

My was doing that this week and last week. I thought it was becuase of the Gmail update to 4.6. After going to back 4.5 then back to 4.6 a date later my restarts have gone away. Haven't had any issues since. See my post about restarting after Gmail 4.6 upgrade.

My device was doing this as well. The proximity sensor was also turing mt screen off even when I wasn't in a call. I exchanged it and continue to have the power cycling issue. The proximity sensor seems to work fine, but if i dont access the phone for 5 or so minutes (unfortunately that's rare) the device will turn off and turn back on. Grrrrrr!! I spoke with a few LG Reps and they stated that they haven't heard of it (sure you haven't) I thought that it must be an app or my pebble watch. I'll try and uninstall my Gmail update. Thanks

A majority of the time it's an app on your phone causing a reset and not an issue with the hardware. Not always but 9 times out of 10.

Mine is heating up and rebooting several times. I noticed an issue with my gmail. Could that have something to do with it? How do I go back to the previous version of gmail?
Nevermind, I read, comprehended (important part there!), then followed your instructions. We'll see how it goes. I only have 3 more days that I can exchange this phone for a new one, otherwise it will be warranty hassle for me :(
