Phone Scrolls To Different Home Screens By Itself

I've had the phone for over a week now and just noticed this happening. My phone will be laying there, not touching it, and it'll slide one home or two home screens over to the right or left. Might this happen if a certain application is updating? Nothing actually opens...just scrolls over...

Or is the ghost of my previous phone, LG Dare, coming back to haunt me for abandoning it....

I don't have the phone yet but I noticed something like that when I was in the Verizon store playing with it.

The screen actually goes a little bit past the visible screen. If you're thumb isn't on the side, you can end touching this "gray area" of the phone and that mkaes it switch screens

Defect... no way to fix this. I have already ordered my replacement, i suggest you do the same. I thought i could live with it but now its eating me away. Order now... the longer you wait the longer it will take to get it since its backordered.

I've had it happen only once so far...

Power off/on stopped it. And I haven't seen it since.

My Moto Droid did that after a few months and I return for a replacement.
