Phone/SD card problem

Woke up this morning and my personalized notification sounds/ringtones were back to default. I opened my ringtone app and the files were gone. I opened my picture gallery and all the files were gone. I was freaking out. I opened Root Explorer (i'm rooted, stock rom) luckily to find everything was still on my SD card though. My tbolt won't recognize the pic/sound files on my SD card. I have a bunch of apps stored on the SD card and they still work fine. I rebooted my phone but didn't fix it. I was about to shut down, pull battery and SD card, but then i decided to ask for advice before going any further. Anybody else have/heard this problem or have suggestions?

Related to a bug in ROM Manager putting a .nomedia file on the root of the SD card preventing the phone from looking at media files on it...

Same thing happened to me yesterday morning after I updated ROM manager it threw me for a loop for a second but I checked my sd card deleted the file and all was normal again
