Phone shows slow charging

[Android Central Question]

It sometimes happens that my phone shows slow charging while charging and charges very slowly.Even though I switch the charger than also it does not gets rectified but when I restart the phone it gets fixed .What might be the cause?

Welcome to Android Central! Which phone? When you switch chargers, are you also switching the cable? Have you made sure the charging port is clear of any debris?

Also, at what battery level does this occur? If the battery is already pretty full, the phone may not allow rapid charging, since the charging curve naturally flattens out as you approach 100%.

belodion posted a really relevant point, unless you actually register for an account it's not likely you're going to be seeing any substantive suggestions. The question you posted is essentially pointless as it's missing a lot of details and too vague so any resulting replies will be equally vague and generic at best. An example being, the cause may or may not be due to your phone's battery, or the USB cable, or the power adapter, or an inadvertently incorrect in the Settings menu (which itself is dependent on what phone model you have and which version of Android its currently running.)

I bet you need to clean out your charging port
