Phone shuts off when using camera with battery at 15%.

Hi,
Is that normal? I'd think that Google can just disable the camera when battery is low, instead of forcibly shutting down the phone. Just wondering if anyone else encounters this problem.

My phone mysteriously shut down twice yesterday when my battery was about 18% but I wasn't doing any major thing. Strange to me too
