phone storage filled with nothing

i have the log file problem where i should have plenty of space on my phone but the phone says ots filled up with nothing...my applications dont take up much space at all either so i know its incorrect...i tried the *#9900# method of removing the overgromn log file but i just get sent to the verizon mobile directory and no "secret menu" with the ability to delete the log file pops up (it works for other people and not me) pls help...its the3rd day...running out of space...might have to sacrifice some of the more frugal apps for sustinence...send help...if you're out there...copy...send help

Hello, I recommend you download Ccleaner it will clear the cache and useless stuff and bloatware.
This should do it , good luck.
PSo you have an external sd card ?
If you do just let me know

i have used the Cleaner app and it definately cleared some space but i still have like 5 more gigs being used than i should
