Phone stuck on lg reboot screen

I did a factory reset and my phone was rooted what do i do to get passed this screen. i had no clue that i should not of done that.any help at all is much appreciated. i am new with the android scene. thank you all in advance for your help.

With the USB cable removed, take out your battery and then put it back in. Hold down power, volume down, and the home key. When the LG logo pops up, release the keys. You'll now be in a recovery. Plug your phone into your computer and proceed.

yeah that's perfect to start then restore or flash a new rom
