Had this phone for 3 weeks and everyday it gets very sluggish. I would have to reboot twice a day to keep it from slowing to a crawl.

Anyone experiencing this?

Unfortunately, yes I have had the same issue. Only fix I could find is rooting and installing a custom rom.

Do a factory reset and see if that works.

What are you guys doing/installing that makes such an advanced phone slow to a crawl!?!?

Really? Please post a link, I'm sure many people here would be interested.

My phone is a G890A, are we talking about the same model?

Samething I've been trying to get when I read about this on any flagship phone. I came to the realization years ago that you have to pay attention to the apps you install on your device as a good portion of the apps in the app store are just trash IMO. They are made with so many shortcuts just to get the app out there that they just cluster phones up big time. this I think is where google has to put the hammer down and boot apps out that have not bee updated in over a year and do a more stringent test of apps to make sure they run to perfection. This is where apple beats google in keeping there app store tidy.

Generally speaking in a case like this if a factory reset resolves the problem its an app or combination of apps causing the problem 99% of the time. Reinstall the apps 1 at a time until you find the one causing the problem.

If a factory reset doesn't resolve the problem its most likely a defective phone.
