Phone Update problem?

I updated my LG K10 today for android nougat. I have a weird problem though. The phone is running android 6.0 after i updated it but the patch level says the phone is running 7.0. There is another update avalible though. Do I need to install that to actually get nougat?

If there's an update available, install it, whether it gives you Nougat or not - security updates are important. (And there may be a few security updates between where you are and Nougat.)
