Phone very slow when connected to repeater

Hi guys. sorry for my bad english. but here's my problem.

all my other devices (PC/iPad/mom's iPhone) have no problem when connected to the repeater except on my note 5..

my apps (facebook, youtube, whatsapp, clash of clans, etc.) takes very long to load, but speed is fast when loaded. e.g when i open a video on youtube, it takes very long to play but once it started, it's super smooth all the way until i watch another video.

it doesn't happen when i connect it to my main router or other public wifi.

these are the methods i've tried but didn't work
- reset and restart repeater
- change dhcp to static (dns 1 - 8.8.8.8, dns 2 - 8.8.4.4)
- wipe cache partition (this worked until i lock my phone)
- OFF wifi power saving mode

are there any other ways to fix this?

is it a repeater or a network extender ?

it's a repeater. Asus RT-N12.. or N12U. the black one.
