Phone volume weak on Samsung Galaxy S5 Lollipop 5.0 Verizon

Phone volume is weak until I hit the speaker icon. The problem just started. Before, the sound was normal. Does anyone know of the problem, and what is the solution? Thanks.

Smartphone, Samsung Galaxy S5, Lollipop 5.0, Verizon network
