Recently my AT&T Note 5 is connecting to LTE when I am connected to WiFi either at work or home. Why is the phone connecting to both when it's on wifi. Could it be because of HD/Advance Calling? I do not remember the phone doing this when I first got it.

Mine does that as well. I would like to know why this happens too. I'm on att.

It isn't using data right? It should use wifi over everything else. Your phone stays connected to the mobile network behind the scenes but it shouldn't matter.

Possible cause could your smart connect switch in Wi-Fi settings. switch it off. If your signal becomes weak it will begin searching which may cause you to go to data temporarily.

Mine has started to do the same thing, ATT. I checked and I have Smart Connect turned off and it still does it from time to time.
