Phone won't stop alerting me with no notifications.

[Android Central Question]

After an Amber Alert about 2 weeks ago, I unlocked my phone and a system message appeared and disappeared before I could read anything. After that, my phone would irregularly vibrate as if there was an Amber Alert even though there was no notifications. It's a Samsung S8+ with most recent Android OS. I have not downloaded any new apps within 2 days prior to this problem.

Have you checked the emergency alert settings? Rebooted?

Open Messages, go to Settings, select Emergency Alert Settings.
