Photo Editor App Recommendation/Advice

Just got my new moto x and the photo editing capabilities seem limited - what's a good photo editor app that smoothly integrates with the stock Photos and Gallery apps?

Install the latest Photos app by google, back up your photos to the cloud. When you click on a pic, select 'edit in Snapseed' from the overflow menu. More editing options than you could possibly need on mobile.

I agree 100%! The new app for from mobile adds a bunch of new features. Now it's built in! Plus the back ups? Yes please! I love it so far. Not to take away from the other paid apps but for being free. It's hard to look else where for your basic photo editing and backup.

I'm a big fan of Snapseed and VSCO Cam, they are both free, so try them and see which works best.

I use them both, depending on what type of editing I want to do. Snapseed is great for simple stuff like cropping, adjusting brightness/contrast, etc, but I'm not a fan of their filters. I mostly use VSCO cam. There are a ton of high quality filters that are easy to control, and you have all the basic editing stuff like crop, exposure, brightness, as well as more advanced options to adjust only highlights, tint, etc. The only bad thing about VSCO is it does not rotate to landscape, which can be a pain with panoramas of 16:9 photos that you don't want to crop.
