I have been watching you tubes on how to use the s-pen and " Photo editor" keeps popping up. I have looked everywhere on my GN2 its not there. Can someone who is well versed with the spen direct me as to how I get the proper photo editor.
Also I see picts here with comments drawn on them with the spen. I wonder how you do that.
Youd help will be greatly appreciated

"Photo editor" the built in version was not included in the att version of our phones. It is not in the samsung or play store either.

If you want to draw on a photo just go to it. Using pen press on screen and hold s pen button. This will copy the picture and let you draw on it.

The method I assume you are talking about is where in gallery you can choose an option for photo editor is this correct?

To write a note on a picture, press the menu button while on the desired image and select "Photo note (front)". For editing, I use Paper Artist which was pre-installed on my N2, or Pixlr Express from the Play Store. Otherwise you can copy the image by doing what jdub said and write on it that way.

Very interesting I didnt have the Front prior to the update I had the on back of photo. After the update I now have them both ( front and back )
And yes you were correct about assuming while I was in gallery.
Someone posted a link a while back and said there was a link to the pro0er Photo Editor that was witheld on the AT&T variant. Do you know anything about this.

If you want the Samsung version of Photo Editor just look around on XDA. It's there. That's where I found mine. And you don't have to be rooted to use it. Just allow the install of non play store apps.

Photo Editor note 2 APK. - xda-developers

Be aware that the Stamp function does not work on AT&T Note II. It will crash the program.

Is that the reason it was witheld from the att variant? Are they going to fix it?
Youve been a big help to me..thank you. I thought to let you know. I went through my apps and Disabled the Att locker, smart wifi and the rest of their vomit. My battery time improved back to what it was.... Incredible!
Advice? Should I leave the photo editor alone for now until its fixed or is their a better substitute that is better and doesn't crash.?

Not sure why it crashes, but it was crashing for others on AT&T and Verizon Note II, so it is the app. It is possible that because the apk posted is an older version of the app, and the newer one would have fixed the crash. But that's the only version available on xda forum right now, unless someone decided to post a new one. I still used it sometime to quickly draw something on pictures. I don't use the Stamp function so it is okay. Everything else seems to work except the Stamps. And once you installed it, when you click the menu on Paper Artist, it will actually show you a submenu and let you select either Paper Artist or Photo Editor. Kind of strange way of accessing it.

go to samsungapps.com ( best to do it from ur phone) and you can download samsungs version of the android play store, from there u can download the editor. Make sure your phone is set to allow installation of non- market apps.. ( Settings> Security> unknown sources) I did it and it works
