Photo from phone too large to fit on Facebook?

Last two or three days, I've been getting error message when uploading photos from my device to Facebook. The file size are too large? I have to crop my photos, but some photo I can't or don't want to crop. Whats the delle-o going on here? Never had this happen before. I though any photos up uploaded, FB would find a why to make it work?

Try web version of Facebook to upload the pictures.

Are you taking the pictures with your phone? What size are they? The limits are 45 for jpeg and 60 for png. Just seems large to me lol

Welcome to Android Central! Facebook is notorious for bugs on top of bugs, so the devs might have introduced this some time recently (if you never had the problem before. As a workaround, you could use something like Snapseed to downsize the pic (using the Export option). Or you could use the Squoosh site (run by Google) to upload your photo and downsize it there.
