Photo gallery appears uninstalled

Hi,

my photo gallery has for somereason dissapeared, maybe uninstalled from my phone. How do i reinstall the standard photo gallery that came with the phone. I am using an alcatel one touch evolve

Please this is really frustrating any help would be much appreciated

Welcome to Android Central! Are you rooted or unrooted? If you're not rooted, you can't uninstall preinstalled apps like Gallery, so it should be around. Are you saying it only disappeared from your homescreen, or also from your App Drawer? Could you have disabled it at some point? Go to Settings>Apps>All, and look for Gallery. If you don't see it where it should be in the alphabetical listing, scroll all the way to the bottom, where Disabled apps are placed. Depending on your OS version, the Disabled list might also be a separate list.
