I'm curious if anyone knows the quality of photos taken with the LgG2. Specifically, developing a photo to an 8x10 frameable photo.

For an 8x10 photo any picture taken around 3MP should be more than enough, and I'm sure the LG2 can handle that :) (Unless, of course, you select a lower resolution when actually taking the picture, in which case, the print might show up grainy or pixellated, depending on how small you went).

5mp is needed for an 8x10. 3mp is too low. It will be very grainy. What I don't know is if the g2 can accomplish that.

Actually an 8x10 with a 3MP would print at 200dpi, and that's not too bad. It's not the best resolution but it's what many printers do. For a 300dpi you'd need a 6MP picture to print an 8x10 at that density.

The G2 has a 13MP camera, so it's more than capable. However, not everyone takes pictures at that resolution, so it's up to how the phone is configured. If it's anything like the latest Samsung devices with 13MP cameras, you can't go lower than 6 MP.
