Well, this isn't actually a US state bird, but it's the Hungarian one, hope it counts. Anyway, a little foreign culture will do you good. Feel free to google Turul bird for some info.

For the next picture I'd like too ask for a photo of your town/city from an elevated point, eg. mountain road, lookout point, hilltop.

When I saw the request for state bird I was sooooo tempted to to snap a picture of my middle finger with the caption "this is my state of mind". However, I remembered this was a family show and thought it might be inappropriate.

I'm happy that I could raise some awareness of my little country! Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that Hungary isn't very well known outside Europe. I would be interested to know how much you Americans know.

I was interested in getting that last item, there's a few large hills in my city, but as far as a yellow tram, I'm out of this one, I don't think there are any trams in Denver, let alone yellow ones..
