This is standard Sprint procedure if you're a current customer returning a device in your 30-day window. Good luck getting your money back, though, I agree you shouldn't be charged if you're returning a defective device.
The Sprint Store charged me a $35 restocking fee for returning a defective phone. I do plan to call them and "discuss" this.![]()
