Photos are black

I tried to move some photos from device to sd card, the move seemed to work but the photos now are black with a with like a ! mark in them.. More info shows its a jpg file and the size, looks like its physically still there but unsupported?

any ideas?

A ghost, cached copy. You can either delete or purge your cache.

A ghost copy would mean a duplicate? but they're not.. most of the downloaded photos moved fine, seems all the blacked out ones are the photos taken by the phone. Ive already cleared cache of the gallery, it didnt help. If I start deleting, I'll lose those pics for good. Im hoping on some sort of recovery

I tried to move them back to where I moved them from.. didnt help.

I have this with some pics, I'm assuming they're on an SD card?

Your memory card is corrupt. You'll need to buy a new one.

The only app I can find to display those pics is Carosel by Dropbox

just tried Carosel by Dropbox.. didnt work.. theyre still black.. so its the card .. wtf.. so basically the pics are gone for good
