photos from N 6 to Picasa

hooked up USB cord from N6 to win. 7, computer. screen says yep, click on upload, runs a second and says error can't read ? halp please.

Welcome to Android Central! Are you trying to copy the pics over to the computer's hard drive? Are you using the Picasa program on the PC? Or are you using the Windows "Import Photos & Videos" function in Windows Explorer?

I avoid the Windows Import function, because that tries to copy every single image indiscriminately, including thumbnails and cached images used by apps. Just use Windows Explorer to drag and drop the photos from the device to the hard drive. Or are you having difficulties even seeing the device in Windows Explorer?
