Photos has stopped on Moto Z droid

[Android Central Question]

Not sure what happened but all of a sudden when ever I try to access my photos it does a search, always listing a different location, some I have taken photos when there, and after trying to find them I get the message Photos has stopped with a x to close app and a send feedback. Have tried clearing cache and date, re-boot, even did some things suggested on sites with changing developer allowance to do changes but still no luck. Any thought or help appreciated.
