So I used to be able to click on a photo on my Samsung S5 and had the option to upload it to picasa web albums.

I just did the Lollipop update the other day and now when I click on a picture to upload the option for picasa isnt there anymore, does anyone know why this is?

Welcome to Android Central! Is this within the stock Gallery app? Go to Settings>Accounts-Google>[your Google account], and make sure Picasa or Gallery are checked on.

I checked that and sync picasa down at the bottom is still checked off.

I found a way to my answer by just downloading the actual Picasa app and now it shows up as an option again when I click upload. Just curious if it was the update that removed it because I never downloaded the app before....

Which Picasa app did you install? To my knowledge, there's actually no official Picasa app from Google, because Picasa essentially became Google+ Photos.

I searched it in google play, I guess it just says Tool for Picasam Google+ Photo. So if it became google plus photos maybe thats why it disappeared? I do have the google+ option to upload to, however when I try to upload there it just wants to like upload it to my profile or share with friends and not add it to any albums.

Yeah, uploading to your G+ Photos can be a little clunky. I usually share to Google+, but only specify myself as the one to share to. That makes it private to you only.

Well it seems to be working fine with that Picasa Tool thing I downloaded but thanks for taking the time to respond!
