Hello guys, I recently tried installing the Picasticks Kernel on my LG Optimus S but had never was able to boot up my phone. It always rebooted itself when it hit the LG logo. I am on the Xionia OC Kernel. Anyone have any idea on why this issue happens?

Are you on CM or a LG based ROM? I believe the PICA kernel is based off LG source and is packed exclusively for use on LG based ROMs.

Freshly installed pica is clocked at 748 i think. Maybe your cpu cannot handle that speed.

What he said ;)

Hey, I have a question. I have the Xionia OC Kernel and its clocked at 787MHz. Occasionally when I try to use the camera, my phone reboots... Would you know the reason why? Maybe, its clocked too high? I have it at 600MHz minimum and 787MHz max because my phone lags majorly when I try to unlock it.

Possibly clocked too high. try dropin it down a lot.. like 650 max or so.. then try..

basically trial and error.. but I think its clocked too high for ur phone... Post the results if u can and good luck :)

I found my stable OC, I have it max at 768MHz and a minimum of 600MHz just because I hate when its so laggy to unlock my phone. :)

i found that with the minimum set at 600 i had lots and lots of reboots...when i started setting min to 245 or even 522 she ran more stable...keep in mind, these are only tested to be stable at 600 max...some can handle the higher rate better than others but if yer min is 600 then you are always working the cpu to the max, and beyond..it can be hell on batt life too, I run at 245 min with 864 max and change to governor to match my task load...rarely have reboots anymore even running SP CM7.
