You will find it one of the best options out there. I use it for my ipads and xooms. I now keep copies of all my movies in mp4 so I can move them among my devices.
Actually, MoboPlayer is the best video player. For the Xoom, its better than RockPlayer and QQPlayer. It's free and only available at the following website (I'm not sure why its not in the android market):
They have 3 versions. Choose the V6 VFP version (middle one on the website)
Once you install it, run the update in the settings. With Moboplayer, I don't have to re-encode any
of my old files (asf, mpeg, divx, xvid) The only draw back is MKVs. I hope they make a Xoom optimized version soon.
lol I just downloaded QQplayer. I played a pirates 3 that i had ripped for my blackberry torch @ 480x360 using dvd in hand. It works great, i was dreading having to re rip all my movies to xoom size. Also on a side note and kinda a jab at my torch, the xoom doesn't lose sound sync. My torch will play the sound .4s faster then the image. Thought i would throw that out there that it works well under blackberry torch & storm settings.
