Okay, is there an easy way to take my DVDs and rip them to my computer and put them in my XOOM?

Thanks!

I have a DVD to iPod ripper, but the quality is pretty poor because it's setup for small iPods, not a large screen XOOM.

Search Google for handbrake.

What media players are out there? I found QQPlayer, does the job, just wondering if there are other good ones.

Actually, MoboPlayer is the best video player. For the Xoom, its better than RockPlayer and QQPlayer. It's free and only available at the following website (I'm not sure why its not in the android market):

MoboPlayer

They have 3 versions. Choose the V6 VFP version (middle one on the website)
Once you install it, run the update in the settings. With Moboplayer, I don't have to re-encode any
of my old files (asf, mpeg, divx, xvid) The only draw back is MKVs. I hope they make a Xoom optimized version soon.

lol I just downloaded QQplayer. I played a pirates 3 that i had ripped for my blackberry torch @ 480x360 using dvd in hand. It works great, i was dreading having to re rip all my movies to xoom size. Also on a side note and kinda a jab at my torch, the xoom doesn't lose sound sync. My torch will play the sound .4s faster then the image. Thought i would throw that out there that it works well under blackberry torch & storm settings.

I really can't wait until then VLC Player is released for Android..it will a lot of this stuff so much easier.
