picks to sd card

Hi Guys
I want to send new pics to SD card . So went into camera settings 7 changed the path.
photos still going to phone memory.
What am i missing.

Are you sure your microsd card is properly formatted and mounted?

yes it is mounted correctly.
I move apps there & they function fine
