Hi guys,
So me and my boss both bought a samsung galaxy note 8.0 and one of things we use them for is to take pictures of documents to transfer to the cloud, etc to share with cilents. The problem is that when we take pictures, let's say of a full page paper, the shadow of the tablet makes it way to part of the document. This is really annoying because the picture/document comes out darker because of the shadow making it obvious i'm holding a tablet in the air. Any apps or solutions to get rid of it. I figure a flash would take care of that problem but unfortunately the galaxy note 8.0 doesn't come with flash.

Try the free version of docscannerS and to eliminate the issue of shadows use a gooseneck desk lamp pointed sideways across the page. The program is worth the price for the full version but give the free version a try first this will also allow you to export them to the cloud as PDF files if you choose to. The software may compensate enough to not need an alternative light source because ypu don't have to be square above the document to scan it. If not just add some additional light fron one side to eliminate the shadow even a wide beam flashlight across the page should work.
