Pictures Disappear

My pictures just randomly disappear after I take them. It mostly happens when I initiate the camera from the lock screen. I literally just took a pic of my car in the spot at the airport to send to a friend because she's picking up my car later. I took the pic twice. I saw it in the little preview circle and am now on the bus to the airport and tried to send her the pic and it's gone. This has happened a bunch of times. I even bought a new SD card. What the hell?

I had the same issue when taking a picture after opening camera from the lock screen. Then the next day I noticed it was in my gallery. Not sure why it does that.

There is a known problem with this. It takes a little searching on the internet to find a way to retrieve some of the pictures taken, but Samsung doesn't seem worried about fixing the issue.
