Good Morning, I haven't used a Pixel before and I have a dumb question.

On my Samsung phones I've always kept photos/videos on both the device AND Google Photos. Now I'm wondering if that's just not necessary.

How are you experienced Pixel/Android users handing pics?

I'd like to free up space by removing all backed up pics, but at the same time how easy is it too retrieve them for sharing etc?

Is it wise/safe to ONLY save to Google Photos?

Thank you

I save to Google Photos and only remove it off the phone if I want to clear up space. It is easy to find them again just like it is to scroll through -- the only difference is if you don't have them on device and you are scrolling back to some moment it just has to load the picture from the internet -- Just like when going to a website. After it loads it you can share it. Of course the load time just depends on your LTE or WiFi connection.
