Coming from an Iphone and how easy plugging my phone in and Itunes doing all the work for me may be the only think i miss haha. I have isyncr for my itunes music for my new sg3 but what about photos? Is there a way, other than dragging and dropping, or any type of application out there that will update my photos from my computer directly to my phone when plugged in? It would be easier not to duplicate photos this way and just easier all together. Let me know, thanks fellow sg3 owners!

By the way, LOVE the new phone :)

Not that I know of, but I've never really looked. I keep most of my stuff in Google Drive, and use picasa for my pics. What you could do is set the Google+ app to upload your pics automatically. They aren't public. If you want them on your hard drive you could even use the Picasa (desktop) app to sync that folder to your computer.

I really believe that it is only a matter of time before Google Drive and Picasa are totally meshed, and it becomes a non-issue.

I know that's not the solution you asked for, but to me at least, it's even easier. Perhaps someone else can shed light on something else.

Afterthought: you could write (or have someone write) a batch file that you could run and have this done for you.

After plugging in your phone, you can pull down from the top (where the settings toggles are) and select "Connected as a media device, touch for other USB options". Select "Camera PTP". In Windows Explorer you'll now see the phone just like it was a camera (it'll even have a camera icon). Right click on it and select "Import pictures and videos". You can select where you want everything saved in "Import settings". If you leave you pictures/videos on the phone, it'll only copy the new photos next time you import.

I use dropbox, it works great the sync happens over wifi so my pictures just appear on my pc. Google+ does the same thing, and other cloud services. Instead of one way that you like or you dont, android gives you choices ;)
