My son's first year gigging at the Edinburgh Festival. ( He asked no actual pictures of him ) His spot ( randomly assigned in the morning ) was outside St Giles Cathedral, c1400 .

Cracking day for busking. And maybe a few Innes and Gunn beers. My favourite being the 6.8% rum cask.
The first rule of beer tasting is don't go with your 78 year old father and his friends

He's 15. Self taught guitarist, drummer and pianist. Primarily the guitar though. For busking he's exclusively acoustic guitar.
His girlfriend sings.

Music type - eh , he's into, and can play, anything. He has won competitions playing jazz, but likes the usual rock stuff.

As Oasis had sold out Edinburgh last weekend, his set was 90's heavy. Made decent money. He was away back into town this morning at 0800 to do it all again.

Great photos. The Edinburgh Festival looks like a lot of fun. Good choice of beers as well. I've had Innes & Gunn here in the USA, and they brew excellent beers.

That's great! Your son has much talent to play so many instruments. I'm glad he was able to earn money doing what he loves.

It's one of life's mysteries. Neither me or my wife have an ounce of musical talent. He is genuinely naturally talented. Somehow .

He has a couple of actual paid gigs coming up too which he organised himself. Playing pubs and clubs is tough at 15. ( I'll go with him though , being a 17st gorilla has some advantages )
