Using the front facing camera, I took a picture today of myself with my kid, holding up an award. Was going to post it for the family to enjoy, but, the pic came out a mirror image and we can't read the award because it's backwards. Anybody know if there's a setting for this on the camera? I can't find it, feeling real dumb. I'd hate to think I have to get an app, or use my desktop, to fix this. Surely, I just can't find the setting. Thanks in advance.

Ive noticed that too. When I took a picture one time, it came out like flipped the other way around. What was on the right, shouldve really been on the left. I dont believe theres a setting to fix that. I dont know if theres an app that can do it either. If anyone else has more information on this, I would love for them to chime in on this one.

I find it odd as well. I suppose an argument could be made that it is set up for video streaming, which, if you think about it, would kinda make sense, but that doesn't hold water either. Why? Because when the "button" is pressed to switch cameras, a little bubble pops up that says, " self shot", implying that it is indeed about to take a picture of yourself. The FFC was a big selling point for me, so it's rather upsetting. I hope it can get fixed.

I can't tell you how to turn it off but I can tell you why it makes sense.one popular use of this camera is to turn your phone into a mirror. If you did that without reversing the image it would make people dizzy. Somebody trying to fix her makeup might put her eye out ;-)
