Pictures wont download

All of a sudden when people text me with photos, it just says downloading and just spins but won't show anything. No updates, restarted phone and now I'm just confused.

Do group texts still work? If not, then something might be messed up with MMS.

Your mobile data is turned on, right? MMS requires mobile data to be on.

Which carrier are you on?

You using Google messages or Samsung?
Try using the other if using one of them .
Also clear Data /force stop that app

AT&T is the carrier. Mobile data is on. Sometimes it will download and then after a few come through its like it just stops. Like today, I had no problem getting them and sending. A few hours later, bam....just spins and says downloading and then get the messages have not been sent.

Do you have RCS (i.e., "Chat Features") turned on? That can sometimes be a little glitchy. The next time this happens, if you have RCS turned on, try turning it off temporarily.

I've seen this happen when the other person sent a picture or Gif message and usually on their end

Tapatalk app won't work for android central anymore so I'm not getting alerts. But bringing this conversation back to life. No chat features turned on.
However, when it happens with certain people it can be switched to MMS/SMS. But that's few and far between.

If Tapatalk is not working try clearing Data then force stop the app and sign back in

It works for a brief moment then goes back to not working. I have to go between the app and website lol.
I kinda figure it due to some of the texts are Apple people. But then again it does the download thing as well with other Android people too. I'm at a loss.

I'll ask if something I'm not aware of but working fine for me .
