Pictures won't rotate?

All of a sudden the pictures on my gallery stopped rotating? I went under settings to display and smart rotation is darkened? Won't allow me to choose anything? Anyone have any idea?

Try a reboot. Either that or Settings>Application Manager>Swipe over to All Apps>Gallery>Clear cache.
