How many Note 5 users knew there was a Pie Control feature under Accessibility in the Touch Wiz controls.

I have had the phone for more than 10 months and never noticed the feature. Is it new or am I simply obtuse.

Samsung really needs to document it's features in a more accessible manner.

What is this feature called, and what does it do?

It's called Pie Control and permits you access chosen applications by simply flicking your finger from preselected edges of the screen.

For instance, you can pull up selected apps and controls, e.g., phone, search, etc., by sliding your finger up or in from the screen.

It's also has premium (paid) features to add to the available options.

Don't see it

Oh I haven't seen that since the Note 3 or Note 4. It isn't on my Note 5.

Having problems reproducing an image of the Pie Control. On the Verizon Note 5 just go to last listed feature under Accessibility.

My Verizon Note 3 and 4 never had this feature. The old browsers had a slide out pie section to control browser settings.

The LMT here is what I installed.

Nope..not there

This feature is beginning to look carrier specific.

I'm not taking about air command. It is much more full featured.

My question is does everybody with a Verizon Note 5 have Pie Control as the final listing under Accessibility. Let's start there.

No it isn't carrier specific, it is very old Android. It is very likely an app.

I believe it is a downloaded app from the Play Store that had to be turned on on accessibilities. If you search the Play Store for Pie Control there are several apps.

The premium (paid) version is in the Playstore. I bought it. I don't see the free feature on the Verizon Note 5 listed in the Playstore.

Not to be contentious but it is not old Android. It is way to full featured for that. I'll try to figure out a way of posting an image.

Further, the paid supplement app was only posted to the Playstore June, 2016.

No it is old Android. I know people that had it with old ROMs they flashed on their Samsung S2. I had it on my Note 3 and it was on Custom ROMs back then.

Here it is on a custom ROM in 2011.
