Pie Update and Bluetooth Issue

This issue started happening to me after the Pie update. All my saved Bluetooth devices disappear after a reboot.

Possibly, try doing a full shut down. Wait a minute or so then power your device back on. That's how I seem to replicate the issue.

I will try it, also do you have anything toggled for bluetooth in developer settings that could affect this ? Or maybe try safe mode see if still happens.

Just curious here as I have experienced this twice. Is anyone that has had this happen factory reset after loading Pie? I have not, I've only cleaned cache after install..

No special settings set in Dev Options. So I can reboot fine into Safe Mode no issues. But doing a full shutdown and powering on still wipes out my BT devices.

Not yet but I won't try that until my S10 arrives. I've cleaned cache tho.

This has happened to me a third time now. I'm looking forward to updating to the newer CSB3 software from Verizon. Maybe it will solve this issue.

I had not had any Bluetooth issues until today. I am on CSB3 on VZW. I upgraded from CSAA.

Today, all of my Bluetooth devices were deleted. I have to set them and the smart locks up again.

Hope this is a fluke.

I took the same update path as you. Rebooted three times now without seeing this issue. Had experienced this at least three times while on CSAA.

I'm not ready to declare it fixed but I remain hopeful.

I think I may have found a solution to my paired Bluetooth devices not connecting. Under Battery settings, I turned off "Put unused apps to sleep." My smartwatch and car are now connecting automatically like before the Pie update.

All of my synced bluetooth devices disappeared from phone just now.

Has this happened to any of you? I took a call through the bluetooth in my car. I got out to run some errands, and when I got back in my car my phone asked me to pair with my car again. The my watch did the same thing. So, I went to my bluetooth settings and everything was gone. I have had the update since it came out. So, it's not like it happened during an update.
I'm going to wait and see if it happens again, but if it does I may be upgrading to the S10+. That's the only weird thing it's done since the update.

I had it happen to me twice while on CSAA. Once I upgraded to CSB3 I havent had it anymore.

I was having this issue all the time after the Pie update. Found solution: Under Battery settings, I turned off "Put unused apps to sleep." Now my devices stay paired and automatically connect like before the update.

When I reboot my devices still remain its when I do a complete shut down is when my paired devices go away. I'm still CSAA with AT&T. The Feb patch hasn't hit my device yet but that's probably because my SIM had been in the S10.

I tried this but hasn't fixed it for me.

My devices disappeared even when doing a reboot and on CSAA. Had it happen about 3 times I believe.

I just did a shut down and restart to test. No issue on this try but I'll try a few more times over the next few days and report back.
