I'm using Nova Launcher and an old school nexus wallpaper. Takes Mme back to 2.0 lol. Other than that just a simple digital clock. I'm not too fond of the in your face weather clocks.

Is no one using a different launcher like Apex or Nova? Tons of options that allow for pretty amazing customizations. Try the free versions. It seems like the tablet would be better with the homescreens able to go to landscape.

I use Nova on both the N7 and my Gnex. Love it. I especially love the ability to speed animations up to "the speed of light" under look and feel. Makes both my phone and my tab FLY!

Beautiful Widgets, Minimalistic Text, Wallpapers HD. Also, you may investigate a less traditional launcher, for instance, I'm using Launcher7 right now.

I never really been a fan of launchers. I have dabbled in a few and nothing ever stuck with me.

it's not a launcher, just a calendar widget. but..... I can't seem to get it to work on my nexus 7 yet

The wallpaper is poison ivy from batman. The calendar widget is jorte. The clock is one more free clock. Evernote is the other widget and then some of my most used bookmarks.

Forgive my ignorance, but when you say "one more free clock" is that the name of the app or just a general description?
